11am: For Younger Visitors - A fun and spooky Halloween adventure designed especially for children.
-Discover the origins of trick-or-treating, apple bobbing, and bonfires.
-Hear playful tales of children tricking (and being tricked!) at Newbridge.
-Step into the servants’ quarters for secrets, superstitions, and even a palm reading said to be passed down from ancestors.
5pm: For Older Children & Families - A darker, factual, and spine-tingling tour for those ready to face the shadows.
-Trace the Celtic origins of Samhain, the festival of the dead.
-Learn about ancient rituals and household protections against spirits.
-Explore mourning customs, funerary traditions, and chilling folklore.
